We traveled 66 hours to get to Australia from Atlanta, GA.

Atlanta to Denver to LA (14 hour layover) to Shanghai (3 hour layover) to Singapore (7 hour layover) to Gold Coast (1 hour drive to the church).

Altgoing the time it took us to get here was positively ungodly, I’m glad we’ve finally made it!

Byron Bay reminds me a lot of Venice Beach. Surfing And tourism is what thrives here. We are getting to know the area and the people. They are much more relaxed here and don’t seem to be as worried about life as we Americans are.

We went to the Lighthouse the other day with the squad and prayed over this area. The word I felt impressed upon to pray for was influence. This area is very open to spirituality with crystals, various yoga, witchcraft, paganism, etc.

Last night I got to remind my teammate Vielka how much God loves her. It’s easy for us sometimes to tell people they are loved Abdul cherished by God, but then sometimes we ourselves struggle to believe it. However, God is faithful and knows how to give us good reminders. Whether is be a beautiful sunset or someone grabbing us by the shoulders and reminding us of God’s love.

if you could pray for my team Crossfit that we would be bold in building relationships with people And unity. Traveling as a group has proven difficult because many of us are very independent and struggle with not being able to go where we want. We see the benefits though and are doing our best to keep a good attitude with it (or maybe it’s just me thats struggling with it).

my phone is about to die and even though this place is ”Western” finding WiFi around here is like pulling teeth. Thank you all for you’re prayers and support! im Still fundraising and have about $5,400 to go before I’m fully funded and if you feel lead, feel free to donate through this vlog.

God be with you!

Trusting He has fantastic plans for this year. Shine that light brightly!!!

  6. Glad you had a safe trip. I guess I didn’t realize you were going to Byron Bay. We have friends there, Kevin and Tiffany Stickler. They are from Tillsonburg originally and have been there now for over 15 years with YWAM. It would be great if you were to meet them.
