Bet you didn’t think I would post another blog so soon!

The goal is to do it at least once a week, but since wifi here is precious, I like to take a moment to share whatever is on my heart at the time. I hope these blogs are a blessing to you. I don’t plan on sugarcoating anything so be prepared for directness.

My greatest fear about this trip is coming back to normal life and not being changed. Being here in Australia is not all that extremely different to the States. What’s different about being here is our mindset.

Can you imagine what life would look like around us if we didn’t have tunnel vision and we noticed the people around us?

Why do we think we need audible permission from God to bless others around us?

Most of the ministry we have been doing is conversation. A lot of tourists are here and se they are usually open to conversation. We’ve met people from Norway, Britain, New Zealand, Colombia, Argentina…if you can think of a country, they probably have a citizen here right now.

I feel bad admitting this, but it’s been hard for me. What we’re doing isn’t difficult. The toilets are normal. We have a great shower at the church (shout out to Joey Badinger for cleaning the drain!). It’s not the typical “struggle” you would experience in a third world country.

Also, for the people out there that think only poor countries need Jesus… YOU ARE SO WRONG IT’S INSANE. Sit down…be humble. If anything, the wealthy have the hardest time of it because their money is their god. How do you offer the Hope of the world to someone who thinks they have everything?

My battle has been taking place internally. I’ve been wrestling with God since Launch. I feel like Jacob when he was determinedly wrestled with God to receive His blessing. Do I trust God? I’m still trying to figure it out. No crazy spiritual stories from me other than I’m currently trying to put God in a headlock.

I’m currently trying to upload a super cool video I made, but alas this wifi is horrible. I promise though I am making videos and they’re ready. Just trying to find that place with the good wifi.

God be with you!

  1. Such profound work is being done. . .in you. Thank you, God for the lessons we all need to learn.

  2. Appreciate your directness. You are showing that you are the granddaughter of Grandpa C. Love you!
