This is the first word that comes to mind when I think of myself on this journey: Unqualified.
There are people out there with more education, more talent, more spiritual gifts, more abilities, more insert-positive-quality-here than me.
I don’t have a theology degree, I curse the LA traffic (even Mother Theresa would ask God to swallow the 405 up during rush hour traffic), and sometimes I can be insensitive to people’s feelings (I could never be a counselor. Just get over it!)
However, I do believe God has a greater plan. I trust that He doesn’t make mistakes. God’s call is irrevocable and I choose to be obedient to what He has asked me to do. I volunteer as tribute! May God ever be in my favor…
Isaiah 40:29-31
“He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”
My World Race: Expedition starts January 2018. Those countries are calling me. I travel light and my bags are packed. It’s time to hit the open road. I already know it’s going to be a time of stretching, growing, discomfort, eye-opening and life-changing. Therefore…
