This is not one of my creations (although I would love to take credit for such a beautiful masterpiece), but I wanted you guys to listen to this song.

One of my squad mates introduced me to this song and I have never heard it before. I was so blessed the first time I heard it and now I am obsessed with it.

Good day. Play.

Bad day. Replay.

Medicore day. Replay 2x.

This entire World Race process, from applying to fundraising, has been hills and valleys.

One moment I’m feeling discouraged because the numbers are not adding up, and then God stirs someone to give! Praise God!

One moment I think my life doesn’t amount to much and then I get an opportunity to speak life into a friend! Praise God!

As I draw closer in my personal time with God, it’s been crazy the shift that is taking place in my life.

Joy. I got the joy. I got the confidence in my God that he is going to do great and mighty things on this trip: People are going to be blessed, lives are going to be changed, and I’m going to be stretched.

That part doesn’t sound pleasant because growing hurts.

I’m not going to be the same and that’s a good thing.

One response to “Hills and Valleys”

  1. I love your beautiful heart! I know God is just pouring His blessings out on you because you chose to obey Him. I am so proud of you and inspired by you. Love you, girl! Keep fighting the good fight; it’s always worth it.
